chia seeds

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F Line the sheet pan with parchment paper.
Soak chia seeds in 3 tbsp of warm nut milk for 15 minutes.
Mix dry ingredients whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, sugar well.
In a bowl, combine milk and vinegar and keep aside for 5 minutes. Add oil, vanilla extract, and chia seed mixture and whisk.
Combine dry to wet gradually. Add more milk, if needed.
Pour in the sheet pan and bake for 12 minutes or until the tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
Once cooled use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make heart shapes.
Serve with fruits and topped with maple syrup.
Notes
If using all-purpose flour use 1 cup milk for 1 cup flour. The whole wheat flour needs more milk, for 1 cup of flour say 1.25 to 1.5 cup milk.
