Instructions
Place the melted butter in a pan, and arrange the thin apple wedges, overlapping tightly.
Top with brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
spread evenly and keep in a preheated oven (350 deg F) for 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, add whole wheat flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, oil, vanilla extract, and milk.
beat the mixture until smooth. If necessary, add more milk. Spread batter over apple wedges in brown sugar mixture.
Tap it to spread evenly and bake it for 10 minutes or until a tootthpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Once cooled, run knife around sides of pan to loosen cake. Place heatproof serving plate upside down over pan.
