For sauce

soy sauce

chili sauce

tomato ketchup
Instructions
Press the tofu using a tofu press or kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.
In a bowl add arrowroot powder or cornstarch, mix with water and keep aside.
In a bowl, add soy sauce, chili sauce, and tomato ketchup and stir well. Keep aside.
Heat cast iron pan with a generous amount of oil. Place tofu on the pan and fry on all sides.
Remove the tofu from the pan and keep aside.
In the same pan heat oil and add cubed onions and fry till it is translucent.
Add green, yellow, red, orange peppers, and green chillies and fry on high heat.
Season with salt and stir well.
Add fried tofu, sauce mixture, and arrowroot mixture and stir on high heat.
Switch off and garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro.
Notes
Deep fry the tofu for the crunchy version.
You can avoid adding all the color peppers. It tastes even good with only green bell peppers.
