Ingredients

jasmine rice
or any rice
3
cups
water
3
stalks
lemon grass

cardamom
Instructions
Wash and soak the rice for 15 minutes. Drain them.
Boil the water. Meantime, crush the lemongrass and cardamom using a pestle or knife to bring the flavor.
Add the lemongrass and cardamom to the boiling water. Add the drained rice and cook until fluffy. Stir in between. Serve warm with any curry.
Notes
Use basmati, long grain rice, brown rice, or any type of white rice.
I have used rice and water in a 1:2 ratio. The rice was sticky. If you do not want sticky rice add water from 1 to 1.5 cups to 1 cup of rice.
