Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 red chilly peppers or any type of chilly
  • 1 red or yellow onion chopped
  • 1 greeen bell pepper chopped
  • 14 oz firm tofu
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Press the tofu using a tofu press or kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped chilly, onion and cook till they are translucent.
  • Add turmeric, salt, and mix. Add green peppers and cook for 5 minutes until crunchy.
  • Add crumbled tofu and fry until combined and hot. Switch off the flame.
  • Add lemon juice, give a quick stir, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • To make it more colorful, you can add colors of peppers. 
  • If you like your tofu to be dry, fry for few more minutes.
  • Adding turmeric is optional.
