Homemade caesar dressing is incredibly easy to make and tastes yummy. This is an egg-free and vegan caesar dressing. There are so many ways to prepare the caesar dressing but this is the simplest way that can be done in minutes with mayo.

Regularly they use anchovies paste for caesar dressing, here we are using olives soaked in olive oil to get the flavor. Likewise, you can use miso paste or capers.

Steps for preparing caesar’s dressing

  1. In a bowl, combine mayo, oil, garlic, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, mustard sauce, olives, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stir well. Use as desired.

  • Instead of olives, you can use miso paste.
  • Apple cider vinegar can be replaced with vinegar or rice vinegar.

Questions/Tips

Can I use a hand blender to prepare the caesar dressing?

Not necessary. Since we are using thick creamy mayo you can just use a hand whisk to mix it. If you want to use a hand blender, definitely you can.

What are the options if I don’t want to use olives?

You can use chopped capers or miso instead of olives.

Can I use store-bought mayo?

Yes, you can use store-bought mayo to make the work easier.

Meal prep/ How to store caesar dressing

Prepare as per the instructions and store in an airtight container. It can be refrigerated for a week. Every time you use the dressing make sure you use the dry and clean spoon and refrigerate the remaining dressing at once.
